How OnsJag handles bookings, provider services, event charges, cancellations, refunds, and platform-supported transactions.
These Transactional Terms explain how bookings, reservations, provider services, event charges, cancellations, refunds, platform fees, and related financial responsibilities work when OnsJag is used to arrange or manage hunting events and related services. They must be read together with the OnsJag Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, EULA, and any service-specific terms shown during booking, confirmation, or service allocation.
These Transactional Terms explain how bookings, reservations, provider services, event charges, cancellations, refunds, platform fees, and related financial responsibilities work when OnsJag is used to arrange or manage hunting events and related services.
Where a specific booking, event, provider listing, quotation, invoice, or confirmation screen shows stricter or more specific terms, those specific terms apply to that booking or service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
OnsJag provides a digital platform that helps hunters, organisers, outfitters, game farms, venues, accommodation providers, guides, processors, taxidermists, travel providers, and other service providers coordinate around hunting events.
Unless OnsJag expressly states otherwise in writing:
Where made available through OnsJag, OnsJag may act as a payment collection facilitator, platform intermediary, booking coordinator, or limited collection agent where a payment flow says so. This does not make OnsJag the provider of the underlying hunt, accommodation, transport, processing, taxidermy, or other service.
Each provider is responsible for:
OnsJag may remove, suspend, correct, or restrict provider listings, services, content, or accounts where information appears inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, abusive, or harmful to users or the platform.
The person making a booking or confirming a service is responsible for:
Prices may include provider charges, platform fees, booking fees, service fees, taxes, and other disclosed charges. The final amount payable is the amount shown at checkout, in a booking confirmation, on an event statement, or in the relevant provider invoice, subject to lawful changes and event-confirmed service usage.
Where enabled, OnsJag may support different payment models, including:
Where a payment is processed through OnsJag, the payment may be collected on behalf of the provider, organiser, or platform, depending on the booking model shown to the user. Where a provider charges directly, OnsJag is not responsible for the provider's payment handling unless OnsJag expressly states otherwise.
OnsJag may show running event totals, service allocations, trophy/game charges, provider breakdowns, participant breakdowns, and statement-style billing information. Unless clearly marked as a final invoice or final payment request:
Accommodation bookings may include lodges, rooms, chalets, farm stays, campsites, meals, catering, cleaning, breakage deposits, extra guest charges, late check-in fees, or other property-specific rules. The accommodation provider's booking terms apply where shown during booking or confirmation.
Unless a different policy is shown, the following default framework applies:
Accommodation cancellation charges must be reasonable and must consider the nature of the booking, the cancellation notice period, the provider's ability to fill the cancelled dates, and normal industry practice.
Hunting event charges may include game/trophy fees, day fees, guide/PH fees, farm access fees, vehicle fees, observer fees, accommodation, meals, permits, ammunition, meat processing, transport, taxidermy, skinning, trophy preparation, delivery, and other event services. A booking cancellation before the hunt is different from a field charge that arises during the hunt.
If a hunter, participant, or organiser cancels before the hunt starts, refund eligibility depends on:
Once a game animal, trophy, or field activity has been recorded, confirmed, harvested, wounded, processed, consumed, or otherwise supplied during the hunt, the associated charge is generally not refundable because the underlying resource or service has already been used or committed. Examples may include:
This does not prevent a correction, exclusion, or refund where there was a duplicate charge, clerical error, wrong participant allocation, provider error, unlawful charge, or other issue that OnsJag or the relevant provider accepts as valid.
Specialist services — including meat processing, taxidermy, skinning, trophy preparation, storage, transport, travel/charter, and other downstream provider services — may be subject to their own provider terms, lead times, deposits, and cancellation rules.
Once work has started, materials have been consumed, a carcass or trophy has entered processing, or a third-party provider has incurred costs, deposits or charges may become non-refundable to the extent reasonably connected to the work already performed or committed.
The relevant provider remains responsible for service quality, lawful handling, permits where applicable, timelines, storage, and delivery arrangements unless OnsJag expressly accepts a specific responsibility in writing.
If a provider cancels, becomes unavailable, cannot supply a confirmed service, or materially changes the booking, the affected user may be entitled to:
OnsJag may assist with communication and support, but the provider remains responsible for the underlying service unless OnsJag expressly accepted that responsibility.
A cancellation must be submitted through the cancellation tools made available in OnsJag, by written instruction to the provider, or through the support contact stated in the booking confirmation. A cancellation is only effective when it is received and recorded by OnsJag or the relevant provider. The refund amount, if any, is calculated according to the applicable policy and law.
Refunds may be reduced by:
Where OnsJag processes the refund directly, OnsJag will aim to initiate the refund within a reasonable period after the refund is approved and all required information is available.
Where OnsJag must first receive funds back from a provider, payment processor, bank, or third-party supplier, the refund will be processed after OnsJag has received those funds, less lawful and disclosed deductions. Refund arrival time may depend on the user's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or payment method.
If a participant does not arrive, arrives late, fails to communicate, or cannot participate because they do not meet provider, safety, legal, licence, firearm, permit, identification, health, fitness, or conduct requirements, the booking may be treated as a no-show or user-side cancellation.
No-shows are generally non-refundable unless the applicable provider policy or law requires otherwise.
OnsJag does not replace legal advice, firearm licence obligations, hunting permits, export permits, provincial rules, landowner rules, PH/guide instructions, conservation rules, animal-health rules, or provider-specific safety requirements.
Users and providers are responsible for ensuring that each hunt, firearm, permit, transport arrangement, animal-handling process, meat/trophy processing step, and export/import step is lawful and appropriate. OnsJag may provide practical information, records, and coordination tools, but it does not certify legal compliance unless expressly stated in writing.
If there is a dispute about a booking, charge, cancellation, refund, field activity, or provider service, the user should contact OnsJag support with:
OnsJag may review platform records, event records, service entries, confirmations, and communications. OnsJag may facilitate communication, request correction, issue platform-controlled refunds where enabled, or refer the matter to the provider where the provider is responsible. OnsJag's support role does not remove the user's or provider's rights under applicable law.
If a user reverses a payment, initiates a chargeback, or disputes a payment with their bank or payment provider, OnsJag may suspend access to the affected booking, event, payout, provider settlement, or account while the matter is investigated.
If a chargeback is unsuccessful or reversed in OnsJag's or the provider's favour, the user remains responsible for the amount due and any lawful costs, fees, or losses caused by the reversal.
Where enabled, OnsJag may charge platform fees, service fees, commission, booking fees, or administration fees. These fees will be disclosed where applicable.
Provider payout timing, deductions, commission, taxes, refunds, reversals, and withholding rules may be governed by separate provider payment terms or commercial agreements. OnsJag may delay or withhold payout where there is suspected fraud, a dispute, refund risk, chargeback risk, a legal issue, provider breach, or an unresolved support matter.
OnsJag may refuse, cancel, suspend, reverse, or review a booking, payout, refund, event, account, or transaction where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, payment failure, identity misuse, platform manipulation, or breach of these terms.
OnsJag may update these Transactional Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date and version at the top of the page reflect the most recent revision. The version that applies to a booking or transaction is generally the version shown or linked at the time of booking or payment, unless a later version is accepted by the user or applicable law requires otherwise.
